For a truly special wedding reception at a unique Muskoka wedding venue, we welcome you to consider Patterson Kaye Lodge. Your wedding on the waterfront, nestled amongst the tall white pines, will be one that you and your guests will remember forever.
The reception will take place in the beautiful Muskoka Memories Steakhouse & Seafood Restaurant with its spectacular double sided twenty-five foot granite fireplace, cathedral ceiling, and beautiful hardwood flooring, all heated and cooled by green geo-thermal heating and air conditioning. In our humble opinion, for Muskoka wedding venues this is second to none.
Patterson Kaye Lodge was built as a summer resort hotel in 1936 by Mr. and Mrs. William Patterson and Mr. Patterson’s sister, Phyllis Kaye; hence the name Patterson-Kaye Lodge. In 1959 Patterson Kaye was purchased by Frank Miller. In 1974 Frank’s son Norman and wife Christine Miller took over the lodge. Between 2005 and 2011, Frank’s granddaughter and husband, Erin and Bryan Shier, operated the resort as a summer family vacation destination. In 2011, the current owner, Muskoka Memories Inc., purchased the resort. It is our intention to convert this classic Muskoka vacation destination into a year round resort and Muskoka wedding venue, while keeping intact the charm and ambience that generations have enjoyed.
Our rates start at $69.00 per person plus 13% HST and 15% Gratuities. Our head chef, Glen Kitchen, will personally craft your menu based on what you want keeping in mind the budget you are working with. We also offer the option of all your guests staying on site for the entire weekend of your wedding in our classic Muskoka cottages, as well as fully catered BBQ’s on Friday night for your guests, and chef Glen’s fantastic Sunday brunch. You can choose an open or cash bar, and your choice of wines from our extensive selection for your reception.
Holding an outside service on site is also an option available between June and September. We also can arrange for all the additional services you need for your wedding including wedding cakes and disc jockeys.
