For a truly special  wedding reception at a unique lakeside location,  Patterson Kaye is nestled  amongst tall white pines.  The Main lodge provides a perfect setting with its huge granite fireplaces, hardwood floors and  high cathedral ceilings.

Patterson Kaye Lodge was built as a summer resort hotel in 1936 by Mr. and Mrs. William Patterson and his sister, Phyllis Kaye.  In 1959 Patterson Kaye was purchased by Frank Miller.  In 1974 Frank’s son Norman and wife Christine Miller took over the lodge.  In 2005 Frank’s granddaughter and husband, Erin and Bryan Shier purchased the lodge and continue to run it as a family resort. 

Families have enjoyed memorable summer vacations for seventy years.  In May, June and September each year, Patterson Kaye hosts wedding receptions.  We offer a unique setting over-looking beautiful Lake Muskoka, nestled amongst towering pine trees.  The Main Lodge boasts granite fireplaces, hardwood floors and cathedral ceilings.  Our dining room is ideally suited for up to 120 wedding guests and is centrally air-conditioned.  It also has a built in P.A. system for the wedding announcements.   

   The rate is $56.00 per person plus 8% Ontario Sales Tax, 6% GST plus 15% Gratuities. Our rate includes the wedding banquet dinner, suggested menu attached and table linen.  There is a charge of $1000.00 for the exclusive use of the lodge including dining room and living room facilities for the ceremony and reception, bar and dance area, and coffee and tea service at 11:30 pm.                                                      

 You can save on your bar costs at P-K.  We are unlicensed, so you purchase the liquor, beer, wine, champagne, mix, the special occasions permit, and pay the wages of the bartender.  We will arrange the bartender, help set up and stock the bar, and supply ice, limes, lemons, wine and bar glasses.
